| It was initially a temporary solution to an ongoing problem. My Stillen V1 nose was painted "Aztec Red" but with Krylon plastic paint(by the previous owner - I basically rescued it from a Parted-Out fate). Long story short- my front end got hit, damaging many things including the nose panel. When it came time to prep to re-paint it AG2, this crap just didn't want to come off. The guy who painted the front of my car has since fallen off the face of the earth, leaving my nose panel permanently stained with Krylon (and also in his possession) and a black one in its place (it's the daily driver). The sh!t just does not want to come off. So, instead of having a half sanded/stripped nose panel(that I don't even physically have), its black (the obvious original color of my replacement parts - including hood and fenders). TWINTURBONICK's comment is -somewhat- accurate. Except replace "Ricer" with "broke ass college kid" and you have a more accurate depiction. If you search back for my previous post that briefly time-lines the repair, you'd see how much better shape it's in than when i first got it. That and it's grown on me, I rather enjoy it. The nose will be replaced/repainted soon with a logo-less panel, and repainted BLACK. I'll be sure to post LOTS of pics -just- for you guys :) I look forward to the witty comments that will ensue. =P To each his own.
